Director: Neil McGregor | Language: English | Year: 2010 | Country: Australia

Synopsis

The Little Things is the story of Mitch (Chris Hillier), a self made man (or so he thinks) rich, retired and traveling the globe avoiding commitment wherever possible. But when Mitch returns home, a chance encounter re-unites him with the first girl he ever kissed – Dee (AFI Nominated Actress Kathryn Beck). To Mitch’s surprise she still lives in the very house they first met and in the fifteen years that has passed she has never left that house and no one has stepped a foot inside. Intrigued by this, Mitch intends to find out some answers, however events soon spiral out of control leaving Mitch responsible for Dee’s well being. Its is bad enough that Mitch is stuck with a commitment, he also has to deal with Dee, who believes that she can change the future and alter people’s destinies so long as she never leaves the house. Mitch thinks she is crazy but there is something going on inside that house & it is starting to appear that Dee may have been manipulating Mitch’s lie this whole time. Now, if only she could control her own destiny she could do something about the fact that they are falling hopelessly and helplessly in love.
