2009, the first year of The Stepping Stone Film Festival (S2F2), saw over a 100 films from 17 countries around the world. The overall standard and quality of films we received was outstanding  and the competition, very, very close. Choosing but a handful of films from such a huge number has been no simple task — they were indeed tough decisions to make.
